Doraku Sushi: Royal Hawaiian Centre in Waikiki

Doraku Sushi was created by Kevin Aoki, son of Rocky Aoki, the founder of Benihana and is the sister restaurant to one in Miami Beach, Florida. Doraku's inventive cuisine combines traditional Japanese ingredients with Pan Asian and Latin flavours with most of the dishes being made from fresh local ingredients. A modern, peaceful aesthetic envelops the bar and lounge area, with the dining area resembling an authentic Japanese teahouse with textured wall to ceiling coverings made from natural woven elements. Serving some the freshest and most regionally inspired sushi in Waikiki, Doraku is a hidden treasure in Waikiki's Royal Hawaiian Centre.
