Housed in a converted 18th-century brick factory, Hergetova Cihelna enjoys one of Prague’s most scenic locations with a gorgeous riverside terrace on the bank of Prague's Vltava river offering sweeping views of the historic Charles Bridge and lovely waterfront of the Old Town. Peaceful and relaxing with friendly attentive service, the menu of this landmark restaurant is as delicious as the view, ranging from Czech and international favourites to fabulous fresh local fish and seafood. Before arriving for lunch, we spent the morning exploring Prague's Old Town and the visiting the spectacular Klementinum with it's exquisite Baroque Library, historic Astronomical Tower and beautiful Mirror Chapel. Founded in 1232, the site is one of the largest building complexes in Europe. Making our way across the famous and always bustling Charles Bridge, we headed down the water to our culinary destination, Hergetova Cihelna, for an absolutely lovely lunch on a glorious warm and sunny day in what must be the world's most beautiful city.
